Assignment 16: Identify Typefaces
Collect 20 images of different typefaces.
You can save images you find on google, take screenshots (cmd + shift + 4)
Look at the typefaces you see in your clothes, on food products, on street signs, on sports and game logos, etc.
Decide which category each logo belongs to:
1. Serif (sharp serrated edges, feet)
2. Sans-serif (no sharp edges, no feet)
3. Blackletter (sharp points on bottom/top of letters, big curves)
4. Script (hand written style, connected letters, slanted)
5. Display/Decorative (a mix of styles, unique shapes)
Use Google Slides
Place each image in each slide and write the name of the type classification below it.
When you are finished, File > Download as PDF
