Mascot Design – Creative Brief
*A Creative Brief is a document a Designer gets from their ‘Client’ before starting a project.
Client: Brand / Sports Team
Project Goal: Create a school mascot for Brand / Sports Team
Design Requirements: You can use any kind of design for the mascot. For example: animal, force of nature, historical person, fantasy characters
The mascot must contain the Brand/Sport Team Logo somewhere on the design.
Colors: Use the brand Colors – 2 to 4 colors max. Use Hex code values.
Size: The design must fit in a 1000 pixel by 1000 pixel square
Method 1:
Find Graphics in CANVA > Save as SVG > Open in Illustrator > Edit Shapes and Colors
Method 2:
Find an image as inspiration > Trace it in Illustrator using PENCIL tool or PEN tool
Method 3:
Draw something on paper > Take a photo of your drawing > Use IMAGE TRACE in Illustrator
It may start as a drawing but must be turned in as an Illustrator File and PNG.
